n desir

Von visueller und auditiver Kunst und deren Kreuzung her kommend,
stellen n
desir studio (Goh Lee Kwang & Lau Mun Leng) ihre jüngsten Arbeiten im
Bereich Videoprojektion und Soundinstallation vor. Sie arbeiten
gleichermaßen analog und digital. Ihr Interesse gilt verschieden
gearteten
Weisen der Wahrnehmung, wobei Erfahrungen des alltäglichen Lebens
ästhetisiert werden. So zeigt der Film „bubbles“ von Lau Mun Leng zuerst
stark abstrahierte, dann immer gegenständlicher werdende Sprudelblasen,
die
aufsteigen. Durch die filmische Abstrahierung extrahiert sie einen mehr
und
mehr psychedelischen Sternenhimmel aus einem Glas mit sprudelndem
Wasser.

n desir

Coming from the crossover of visual and auditory arts, n desir studio
(Goh
Lee Kwang & Lau Mun Leng) present their recent works in the field of
video
projections and sound installations. They work in both analogue and
digital
media. They're interested in different ways of perception,
aestheticising
the experience of every day life. The film “bubbles” by Lau Mun Leng
shows
bubbles rising, very abstract at first, gradually becoming more
concrete.
Through filmic abstraction she extracts an increasingly psychedelic
starry
sky from a glass of sparkling water.
